composer and pianist
Pavle Cajic is a composer, pianist and transcriber of Serbian background. He received his musical education on Gadigal country at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. He has written works in many genres for a variety of instrumental and vocal combinations including solo, duo, chamber, and orchestral works. Cajic's music has been described as original and poetic, evocative and colourful, at times intricate and cerebral, yet immediately relatable. Story and expression are at the forefront of his musical priorities. Cajic's developing musical language draws eclectic and evolving influences from Western tonal music, Baroque forms, and Asian (particularly traditional Chinese) music.

Pavle would like to acknowledge the traditional owners of the land on which he has written music, the Gadigal people of the Eora nation, and extend that respect to all elders past, present and emerging.
